This book goes some way to explaining my miniature world and through the description of each project, how and why I build what I do and why the older kits that form the basis of this new book, are so important to me.

Well, here it is – my completed ‘Legacy Collection’ modelling guide, ready to send out!

Having worked on this book for a few months, it really is gratifying to see that my models and then my ideas for the book have all come together in a package that I hope you will all enjoying looking at, but just as importantly, reading.

When I set out on this journey last year, I knew that I would have to explain why I was building what I was and then my approach to each individual project. Little did I know that each one would dig deeper into everything that I thought I knew about my hobby and latterly, my job and how I have approached each facet of my life up until now and how that is likely to shape what I do in the future. This book goes some way to explaining my miniature world and through the description of each project, how and why I build what I do and why the older kits that form the basis of this new book, are so important to me. Although the images contained within its covers are important, it is the written text that is perhaps the more in-depth aspect of the contents. The 20,000 words that I wrote are some of the most revealing of my career so far, so I’m excited to hear your thoughts on that insight. Fear not though, it’s no psychological breakdown, just one modeller’s personal account of his journey so far, warts and all!
