A SIMPLE WORKSHOP HACK…

Tidy your workspace withese cut-price storage bins…

Following a trip to IKEA yesterday, I added another little section to my workroom. £1.50 for the rail, 50p for each of the buckets and 50p for the clips. I now have all of the sanding and polishing pads and sheets off my desk and a place to hang my mini-drill. Bargain! 🤓

I'm formerly the editor in charge of Military In Scale magazine and latterly, Model Airplane International. Editing duties to one side, I'm now a full-time modelmaker with Doolittle Media, working to supply modelling articles and material for a number of their group titles, including MAI and Tamiya Model Magazine International. I'm also an avid fan of Assassin's creed, Coventry City FC and when the mood takes me, a drummer of only passing skill. Here though, you'll find what I do best: build models and occassionally, write about them!

Spencer: Looks too easy and you didn’t spend enough. You display entirely too much common sense and frugality to be a hobbyist.

  2. Heaven’s to Mergatroid…! If only MY shop was this neat and tidy. I have more storage drawers, hand built of course, than stuff to put in them. And I keep building more. I dunno, maybe I’m just afraid to start the massive parts count of the Merkava 4 with the mine rollers up front…and all t hose links…aaacckk…! Will send pics later.
