SOME THINGS JUST NEED TO BE FINISHED!

Do you have models that are 95% complete and just need that final push to get them over the line? Yeah, me too...

Though I don’t have ‘Shelf Queens’ per se (once I run out of steam with a build, it almost always ends up in the bin), I do have models that are held onto until I can decide what to do with them. This M3 Stuart is a good example.

Built, I think, at the start of 2019 from a Tamiya ‘white box’ sample, it’s been in this state for a while, needing by the looks of it, some touching up, addition of remaining parts and then some tidying up of the weathering. I actually rather like the little fella, so perhaps I should, finally get it finished!

I'm formerly the editor in charge of Military In Scale magazine and latterly, Model Airplane International. Editing duties to one side, I'm now a full-time modelmaker with Doolittle Media, working to supply modelling articles and material for a number of their group titles, including MAI and Tamiya Model Magazine International. I'm also an avid fan of Assassin's creed, Coventry City FC and when the mood takes me, a drummer of only passing skill. Here though, you'll find what I do best: build models and occassionally, write about them!
