A CLASSIC RECREATED: DO YOU HAVE YOUR COPY?

Though this one in civilian in nature, those of you that enjoyed the first book from my ‘Legacy Collection’ will find much to enjoy in this one, detailing as it does, the journey that I embarked on to create a brand-new 1/24 Garage scene built around Tamiya’s superb Honda S600.

Last year I published an update announcing that I was releasing a new diorama books based around the construction of my garage scene. With all of the orders for that book fulfilled, there are a number of copies left of the book, which are now available for final sale. I’ve decided that this book will be deleted from the collection once these copies are sold, so if you would like a final copy, now is the chance! There are plans to offer it as a digital download at some point, so you will have that option, but certainly as a printed title, there are no plans to ever reprint this book, in this format.

I am delighted to announce the creation of my latest diorama book, the second in a trilogy of titles that deal with dioramas that I have built of the last 18 months, inspired by my friend and greatest influence, Francois Verlinden.

Though this one in civilian in nature, those of you that enjoyed the first book from my ‘Legacy Collection’ will find much to enjoy in this one, detailing as it does, the journey that I embarked on to create a brand-new 1/24 Garage scene built around Tamiya’s superb Honda S600. Within the book’s pages, you will find extensive descriptions of how the diorama game together, what inspire it in the first place and how an idea was developed from a 1980s masterpiece, to create something fit for the 21st century. I will show you how the car was built and painted, how to construct a garage building and how with some simple kit parts and then clever use of the Internet and your own redundant kits, you can create a busy scene, whilst at the same time keeping your costs down.

But there’s more!

Along with ‘The Garage’ diorama, I have also included a detailed build of another classic 1/24 Tamiya car kit, this time their wonderful Lotus Europa. This chapter takes you though construction and painting and then on to something a lot of car modellers perhaps do not carry out, the weathering of their latest build. Follow the steps and you too will be able to build something a little more weather-beaten for your collection!
