HARRIER: MODELLING AN ICON

After a four year absence, this popular modelling guide is available once more, as a limited-edition release...

This book is the culmination of those years of love for the Harrier and as such, brings together many of the features that I have created to reflect that abiding passion. Within the pages of this modelling guide you will find four individual features that tell the story of four very different models, approached in four very different ways.

This book is the culmination of those years of love for the Harrier and as such, brings together many of the features that I have created to reflect that abiding passion. Within the pages of this modelling guide you will find four individual features that tell the story of four very different models, approached in four very different ways. From the simplicity of my almost ‘out of the box‘ build of the Airfix 1:72 Harrier GR.3, through to the dainty detailing of Revell’s 1:144 Harrier GR.7, to the complex reworking of Hasegawa/Revell’s 1:48 GR.9A and onto the advanced, almost unrecognisable conversion of the huge Airfix 1:24 GR.1 into the streamlined T.2, there’s much to enjoy, much to absorb and much to – hopefully – learn from. This book though, is no technical manual. From the off I wanted it to be a modelling guide, not a nuts and bolts dissertation into the minutiae of the Harrier and its workings.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

The last time this book was available for sale was nearly four years ago, so I’m offering it again to modellers looking to build Harrier models for their collections. Like my other books, this is a limited-edition, print to order volume available only directly from me and not through any third-party seller. It will be offered for just a couple of weeks before being withdrawn to complete the print run. This is your chance to get a copy! I look forward to hearing from you!

BUY YOUR COPY NOW!

Before I begin, please can you ensure that you read all of the following update, as it contains plenty of important information!

HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR BOOK…

As with previous titles, this one is being created as a strictly limited-run product and as before, the price reflects this. Many of you will already have the other books in your collections so – hopefully – will know what this means in terms of quality and how enjoyable it is to own something that’s rather niche in its approach! Though each one is more expensive than comparable titles, I believe that they are books that you will enjoy and want to keep as part of your collections.

Here you will find payment links for you to purchase a copy of this new book.

UK Orders including postage and packing: £26 – PayPal.Me/DavidP671/26

Europe Orders including postage and packing: £35 – PayPal.Me/DavidP671/35

DETAILS, DETAILS…

When using the Paypal links, PLEASE can you ensure that you leave your full name and postal address so that I can complete my ordering list ready to have the books sent out to you. Often, I see only screen names and no other details, so you must complete the details as accurately as possible. Without all of your information, including you full name and postal address, I can’t track you down and complete the order. Can you also confirm that you have placed your order and made your payment via email, using the email address seen below. This will allow me to confirm your payment with you and request any additional information should it be required. Because of the way that PayPal reveals information on their site, sometimes I won’t see your address or email, so please be sure to send your address  – without it, I can’t send your book out!

I'm formerly the editor in charge of Military In Scale magazine and latterly, Model Airplane International. Editing duties to one side, I'm now a full-time modelmaker with Doolittle Media, working to supply modelling articles and material for a number of their group titles, including MAI and Tamiya Model Magazine International. I'm also an avid fan of Assassin's creed, Coventry City FC and when the mood takes me, a drummer of only passing skill. Here though, you'll find what I do best: build models and occassionally, write about them!
