A quick update following yesterday’s announcement and discussion on this site. Tamiya’s official twitter feed has uploaded new images of their F-35 that show you in detail what you can expect from this new kit. If you would like to see them, hit this link.
They have also announced that Italeri’s F-35B kit will join their range as one of the Tamiya/Italeri tie-ins (they have for years, reboxed Italeri kits from the Japanese market) which again, you can read more about by following this link.
Exciting news then and images that will no-doubt further debate on this exciting new release!
As mentioned earlier, if you would like to see more of my thoughts on this new kit, check out my earlier update by clicking the following link:

Well, good news indeed….. I confess I am biased toward the Bravo, as the USMC model is what can make the LHA light carriers true small fleet boats, adding a fixed-wing component to the helicopters and V-22 Ospreys normally shipped. I sincerely hope the Italeri kit does this controversial aircraft justice…..
Wand all I want is the navalized f-35c
Happy for this for those who like modern stuff. I was really hoping it would be the 1/48 F-4C/D. I suspect Tamiya will sell 100 of those for every F-35.
