THE LEGACY PART TWO: IMPORTANT UPDATE!

I have now decided that this will be the last of the ‘Legacy Collection’ books and as such, I will be limiting my time on it in terms of additional work and reprints.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PLEASE READ!

Here is some important information for those that have bought a copy of this new book as well as those that are looking to order a copy, but have not yet done so. This is a repeat of the update that I placed last week, with some additional information and screens-grabs. 

FIRST THINGS, FIRST! 

The design of the book is now done and it will go to the printers next week. I have now decided that this will be the last of the ‘Legacy Collection’ books and as such, I will be limiting my time on it in terms of additional work and reprints. As with the other titles, I am planning to print this one to order so that fans of my work can grab a copy, but once that is done, I will be parking it and moving on to new projects. If you would like a copy, please order one now – there will not be a chance to do so after the print run is done that will guarantee you a copy. I can print as many as are needed now, but once they are gone, I’m sorry, but I’m very unlikely to fund another print run once this one is complete and the books despatched.

ABOUT THE BOOK…

‘THE LEGACY PART TWO‘ is a detailed look at a group dioramas that were built over the last 2 years around Tamiya’s classic range of 1/35 ‘Military Miniatures’ kits, all finished using Francois Verlinden’s inspiration, ideas and techniques. For anyone that remembers those wonderful dioramas that appeared in the Tamiya catalogues of days gone by before finding their way into ‘The Verlinden’ Way collection of books, this series is the perfect homage to collect, keep and enjoy.

This is the second and final Legacy book (at least for the foreseeable future), this one dealing with many of the remaining builds from the series that began in 2020. Five of that series were included within the Legacy Part One that many of you have already bought and enjoyed. If you enjoyed the first volume, you really will love this partner title! And as with all of these books, they are only available from me direct and are offered on a strictly first come, first served basis! Once they are gone, they are gone!

Each chapter offers plenty of construction and painting tips, with easy to follow ideas that will help you to build the models and then perhaps, similar dioramas for your collection. Discussions are had regarding planning, detailing, painting, how to sculpt your own buildings and the use of these older models and their companion sets of figures and accessories. But more than that, the images, musings and techniques offered, will also be of use if you just want some ideas for other models of similar design and vintage. Or maybe, you just want to look at the pictures of the completed models — it’s all there!

As you can see, the book has been printed once again in landscape format to allow you the reader, the chance to see all of then detail that you can find without it being lost over the edges of the pages and central gutter lines – it’s all there to enjoy!
