Within the covers you will find over 20 models from armour to aircraft, dioramas to other-worldly subjects, built from kits and from scratch.

Hello everyone and welcome to my brand-new showcase features models that were completed throughout last year.

Over the last 30 years almost everything that I’ve built has been for publication in one form or another. Though that has meant that my work has been memorialised in print, I’ve never been able to collate single years of work into one place, that is, until now. And, rather than this being a project that only I can enjoy, I thought it would be worthwhile to offer these showcases to modellers who would also like to collect each one, the plan being that from now on, this will be a yearly release! I hope that you all approve!

A Year In Miniatures is a personal showcase that draws together a year’s work in one place. Each individual chapter reveals details of the models built and then where, if applicable, which kits were used and in what form the models were offered for publication. The chapters all feature high-quality images digitally printed on high quality, glossy paper. Within the covers you will find over 20 models from armour to aircraft, dioramas to other-worldly subjects, built from kits and from scratch – there really is something for everyone! It really is as broad a showcase as you will find anywhere!

A Year In Miniatures features the following models:

Here Are Just Some Of The Pages That You Will Find In This New Book!

How To Pay For Your Book….

As with previous titles, this one is being created as a strictly limited-run product and as before, the price reflects this. Many of you will already have the other books in your collections so – hopefully – will know what this means in terms of quality and how enjoyable it is to own something that’s rather niche in its approach! Though each one is more expensive than comparable titles, I believe that they are titles that you will enjoy and want to keep as part of your collections. Indeed, as this is #1 in a series, I hope that you will want this first release and then look forward to buying all of them as they are released in due course!

Here you will find payment links should you wish to purchase a copy of this new book.

UK Orders including postage and packing: £25 – PayPal.Me/DavidP671/27.50

Europe Orders including postage and packing: £32.50 – PayPal.Me/DavidP671/35

Details, Details…

When using the Paypal links, PLEASE can you ensure that you leave your full name and postal address so that I can complete my ordering list ready to have the books sent out to you. Often, I see only screen names and no other details, so you must complete the details as accurately as possible. Without all of your information, including you full name and postal address, I can’t track you down and complete the order. Please can you also confirm that you have placed your order and made your payment via email, using the email address seen below. This will allow me to confirm your payment with you and request any additional information should it be required. Because of the way that PayPal reveals information on their site, sometimes I won’t see your address or email, so please be sure to send your address  – without it, I can’t send your book out!

Here is my email address:

And That’s It!

You now need to do nothing else with your order. The books will be printed to the quality that are reserved and paid for and will then be sent out by mid August. All of you having your copies, all being well(!), by the end of that month.

As before, I would really like to thanks you all for taking the time to read this and for supporting my endeavours with these books and my wider modelling. By purchasing one of these books, either printed or digitally, you are helping to keep the lights on and allowing me to continue with projects that I know that you all enjoy seeing.

Thanks you all so much and I’ll see you again soon!

I'm formerly the editor in charge of Military In Scale magazine and latterly, Model Airplane International. Editing duties to one side, I'm now a full-time modelmaker with Doolittle Media, working to supply modelling articles and material for a number of their group titles, including MAI and Tamiya Model Magazine International. I'm also an avid fan of Assassin's creed, Coventry City FC and when the mood takes me, a drummer of only passing skill. Here though, you'll find what I do best: build models and occassionally, write about them!

Absolutely fantastic book Spencer, congratulations. Packed with beautifully clear photographs of Spencer’s work, I can see much inspiration from these which equals more kit purchases. 😁 Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
