A MODELMAKER’S LIFE: THE HIGH FLYING FIGHTER…

Having spent much of yesterday collating material, today was all about beginning the design of a new book, one that I hope will please fans of my work, as well as those looking for something inspirational for their libraries and workbenches.

The next book will be a single subject publication that describes in detail how I created a Spitfire HF.VIII from the superb Airfix 1/24 Mk.VIII kit. Featuring extended chapters on construction, detailing and the actual conversion, readers will find much to enjoy and hopefully be inspired by, not just in 1/24 but in any other scale as well!

So far I have a cover, as well as a few pages that I’ve laid out today, but little more than that. As I work on it over the next month or so I’ll post some progress so that you can see what you can expect should you wish to buy a copy for your collection.
