Another simple update at the end of another simple day!
Following yesterday’s shenanigans with the Meteor’s cockpit, today I’ve focused on the other internal parts, undercarriage and engines.

Though I was concerned that the engine and its metal and black finish would be tricky to paint, it actually proved to be anything but. After rather too long wondering how to do it, I painted the metal areas first and then sprayed almost all of the black, before trimming the demarcations with a brush and some AK 3G acrylics. In total it took less than 15 minutes to complete that step, far less than I expected it to take and far less time to do, than I spent thinking about it! It’s always a relief when something I think will be difficult, proves to be rather easy!
All being well I’ll complete the painting of the interior in the morning so that I can complete the airframe next week. I still haven’t settled on a scheme, my plans being thrown into disarray thanks to a lack of suitable code letters. That being so, I may have to go with a kit offering, though I may still modify my choice if I can. I really can’t leave things alone, can I?
See you tomorrow.

The engine and the ejector seat are extremely well painted. If you don’t mind me asking how do you dry the paint so quickly to allow all the painting to be finished in one “sitting”
