25th November 2025
It was pointed out this morning as I drove my granddaughter to school, that it is 30 days until Christmas Day. Sounds about right if my maths are mathin’, which means that there are only a few weeks left to get the rest of this year’s work, complete.
You would think with that in mind I would have had a fairly productive day. No. I set out with plans to do lots but ended up only spraying a few parts, catching up with some updates on my social media pages and then going out with Liz for coffee. Productive, I was not.
Despite that, I should finish the Airfix Spitfire in the morning, allowing me to work on a new project for Brett with little in the way of interruptions. Plans are to build and paint the Airfix Wessex, but I’m struggling to build up any kind of enthusiasm (despite the kit being lovely!) so may change direction and work on something else instead.
This evening, I’m planning on watching the Coventry City game, hoping for another win. Nerves aside, it seems like the perfect way to end a day that held such professional promise, but rather passed me by!
See you again tomorrow.
