Our first day at SMC, so I thought I’d show you a few images of the set-up day before I head off to meet up with everyone.

I’m not sure I was prepared for the scale of this show, nor the professionalism of the organisation, the breadth of the displays and the incredible range of traders, all of whom take incredible pride in their stands.

Today can only be the most cursory of glances at what is on offer, but I hope it will give you a flavour of what is to come over the weekend. I cannot wait to dive in!
