11th October 2025
With one week until Scale Model Challenge in Eindhoven, I planned to spend today finishing off some bits and pieces for the show. Best laid plans and all that, I instead spent the day clearing out the spare room, taking rubbish to the recycling centre and then sorting out my wardrobe!
To be fair, I rather like these jobs. Keeping the house clean and tidy is something that I’m rather keen on, the idea of living in a mess being drummed out of me from a very young age. So when the spare room became filled with the packaging from the dressing table I built for my granddaughter a few weeks back, as well as some of the detritus from the living room redecoration, I knew that today would be the day to sort it all out and return it back to its clean and tidy state.
With today spent doing those jobs, the morning will see me return to my preparations for SMC, as well as a few days on the ICM Marauder. All of this is taking up plenty of my time, especially the former, which I have to say I can’t wait to be part of! I’ve wanted to attend the show for years, so it will be amazing to finally experience the event and see what all the fuss is about!
So now I’m done for the day and off out for a few pints with friends. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day and I will see again, tomorrow.
