A MODELMAKER’S LIFE: END OF A BUSY DAY…

The eve of our final day in France…

13th September 2025

Being a Saturday and despite being on holiday, today has been as much about the football as anything else. With it being so late and energy levels being so low, I’m calling it quits until the morning. Tomorrow is our final full day in France and we are off to Bordeaux to see amongst other things, the German U-Boat pens that still remain as part of the harbour. I’m sure that will be enough for a much more involved diary update!

In the meantime, have a wonderful rest of your day and I will see you tomorrow.

I'm formerly the editor in charge of Military In Scale magazine and latterly, Model Airplane International. Editing duties to one side, I'm now a full-time modelmaker with Doolittle Media, working to supply modelling articles and material for a number of their group titles, including MAI and Tamiya Model Magazine International. I'm also an avid fan of Assassin's creed, Coventry City FC and when the mood takes me, a drummer of only passing skill. Here though, you'll find what I do best: build models and occassionally, write about them!
