So this month will see me finish a cluster of models, the most important of which is my commission that I hope to have done by the end of the week.
1st June 2025
I’d planned to write a more extensive update today, but having spent most of the day working on my commission, I’ve very little to say!

Tomorrow though, work begins in earnest on my June builds for both Model Airplane International and Tamiya Model Magazine International, the latter taking a slight precedent over the former.

Marcus has asked me to build the relatively new Tamiya 1/48 F-35C Lightning II, so that will be crossing my desk over the next few days. It’s the second time I will have tackled this aircraft in 1/48 (I built the F-35B for Brett, an image of which you can see above…) and if the first was anything to go by, I’m in for a treat!

As for Brett, he will be getting my build of the wonderful Airfix Lysander, a kit that I’ve had for a while now, but so far not had the chance to start. Ive always loved the aircraft, so when the city arrived I planned to crack on with it straight away. Best laid plans and all that, it has had to take a back seat behind other more pressing projects, but all being well it will be worked on shortly.
So this month will see me finish a cluster of models, the most important of which is my commission that I hope to have done by the end of the week. I won’t be able to reveal much about it until after it’s been delivered, but I am looking forward to showing it to you once it has been handed over.
So that’s it, the end of the weekend and the start in a few hours of another working week.
Have a lovely rest of your evening and I will see you all again, tomorrow.
