SKYHAWK ‘ED HEINEMANN’S HOT ROD’: PRESALE NOW OPEN!

This is your chance to buy a copy of my brand-new modelling guide for your collection!

From the simplicity of my almost ‘out of the box‘ build of the Airfix 1/72 A-4C and 1/48 Hasegawa A-4M through my mild detailing of the Trumpeter 1/32 A-4E, and on to my brand-new, highly detailed look at the complex Magic Factory A-4M, there’s much to enjoy much to absorb and much to – hopefully – learn from.

My latest modelling guide takes a detailed look at the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk and as such, brings together a number of features that I have created over the last few years, together with one brand-new build, revealing how my love-affair with the type is showing no signs of waning!

Within the pages of this modelling guide you will find four individual features that tell the story of four different models, approached in four different ways. From the simplicity of my almost ‘out of the box‘ build of the Airfix 1/72 A-4C and 1/48 Hasegawa A-4M through my mild detailing of the Trumpeter 1/32 A-4E, and on to my brand-new, highly detailed look at the complex Magic Factory A-4M, there’s much to enjoy, much to absorb and much to – hopefully – learn from.

This book though is no technical manual. From the off, I wanted it to be a filled with the kinds of features I loved back in the day, crammed with bright pictures sharp ideas and pleasing models. It is not a nuts and bolts dissertation into the minutiae of the Skyhawk and its workings. I kept my focus on getting the best from the four kits featured, so I hope you will see the book for what it is: a modelling guide pure and simple!

IMPORTANT NOTE!

Like my other books, this is a limited-edition, print to order volume available only directly from me and not through any third-party seller. It will be offered for sale for just a couple of weeks before being withdrawn to complete the print run. If you would like to order a copy, this is your chance. I’ll be keeping this page open until the end of the month when the book will go off to the printers to create the books that have been ordered.

BUY YOUR COPY NOW!

Before I begin, please can you ensure that you read all of the following update, as it contains plenty of important information!

HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR BOOK…

As with previous titles, this one is being created as a strictly limited-run product and as before, the price reflects this. Many of you will already have the other books in your collections so – hopefully – will know what this means in terms of quality and how enjoyable it is to own something that’s rather niche in its approach! Though each one is more expensive than comparable titles, I believe that they are books that you will enjoy and want to keep as part of your collections.

Here you will find payment links for you to purchase a copy of this new book.

Can you also confirm that you have placed your order and made your payment via email, using the email address seen below. I'm formerly the editor in charge of Military In Scale magazine and latterly, Model Airplane International. Editing duties to one side, I'm now a full-time modelmaker with Doolittle Media, working to supply modelling articles and material for a number of their group titles, including MAI and Tamiya Model Magazine International. I'm also an avid fan of Assassin's creed, Coventry City FC and when the mood takes me, a drummer of only passing skill. Here though, you'll find what I do best: build models and occassionally, write about them!
