It’s a very short update today, as it’s 7.30 and we have just returned from the CBS Arena after watching Coventry City beat Preston North End for the first time in 27 games! Despite going two up, missing a hatful of chances and then seeing them score in the 81st minute (which made the nerves jangle somewhat…) we managed a win. After a shocking start to the season, we are now one place and one point outside the playoffs. What price another trip to Wembley?
In other news, I’ll be attending my second model show of the year tomorrow as I visit the South Cheshire Militaire event in Nantwich, Cheshire. Hopefully, I may see some of you there and perhaps, I’ll get to pick up some much-needed paint and a few goodies along the way. I’m looking for a Das Werk Blitz Panther, so fingers crossed I at last see one to buy!
I hope you’ll forgive the abridged update today. All being well, tomorrow’s will be a little more to do with modelling and a little less to do with football!
