Given the number of modern dioramas that we are seeing based on modern war zones and indeed, post-apocalyptic locations, this will be a very popular set of parts that will find their way into hundreds of unique dioramas.
Miniart have just announced that they will be adding to their accessory range with a wonderfully imaginative and frankly, very welcome new set: 35638 Air Conditioners & Satellite Dishes. Offering not only the dishes and air-con units, the kit will also include a funky decal sheet with warning labels and graffiti, both of which will add another layers of detail and finesse.
Moulded in plastic with photo-etched vent screens, the kit looks to be comprehensive and the detail, complete. Though dishes have been available eksewhere, they have sometimes been relatively heavy and difficult to fix in place. These ones, moulded in far lighter plastic will also be more user friendly, not to mention, more widely available.
